Questions students ask first

You don’t have to figure it out alone.

A course name should make sense before you submit an enquiry. These are the basics most first-time students want to know.

Which creative course is right for me?

Start with the work you would enjoy making. Animation is about characters and 3D worlds; VFX is about movie effects and compositing; gaming covers assets, levels and game engines; design programs cover graphics, web and digital content. A counsellor can help you compare programs within the field you like.

Can students from different educational backgrounds learn these skills?

Students from technical and non-technical backgrounds can explore creative media training. Your interests, available time and career goal are better starting points for comparison than the name of your present degree.

Do I need to know drawing, coding or creative software already?

Different courses need different strengths. Drawing helps in some art and animation paths; logical thinking can help in games and interactive work. Tell the counsellor what you already know so they can suggest an appropriate starting level.

What do ADVFX, AD3D, DGWA and APDMC mean?

They are short program names. ADVFX is an advanced visual-effects program, AD3D is an advanced 3D-animation program, DGWA combines graphics, web design and animation, and APDMC covers digital media creation. Every acronym on this page is expanded on its course card.

What happens after I submit the form?

Your course interest and contact details are sent to the MAAC Bhubaneswar counselling team. A counsellor can then contact you to understand your goal and explain suitable course options.
